 The name is Dutch Star - the perfect place to be when you want Newmar style, comfort and quality. The Dutch Star was conceived, designed, built and delivered with Newmar's unyielding passion to build the very best. Dutch Star motorhomes are built strong. They use aluminum sidewalls and roof built 16" on center with foam insulation built-in to the sidewalls, floor, and roof. Newmar challenges the notion that you have to be at home to feel at home with the Dutch Star.

This 2000 Dutch Star 3851 is no exception to that rule. It's built on the legendary Freightliner chassis so you can rest assured that it is ready for hundreds of thousands of miles of service. Power is from the legendary CATERPILLAR diesel engine which is a step up from the standard Cummins unit. Thanks to the big living room SUPER SLIDEOUT, you have unmatched living area. Speaking of which, we know you will appreciate having wood and real tile flooring throughout this coach especially when it's time for cleaning!

The features and options do not stop there, though. This Dutch Star is equipped with the optional side-mounted radiator which is not only more efficient but allows easy access to the engine as well as making for less debris being kicked up onto whatever you may be pulling. This one is set up to pull with a heavy duty receiver hitch and Remco control box so you can flat-tow your car behind you! Also on the outside you'll find the big TracVision dome satellite unit as well as separate patio and window awnings made of CLOTH not vinyl and each with its own protective sunshade. While you're out there, look at the basement storage...it's HUGE.  

The luxury and features inside this coach, if anything, surpass those of the exterior. You have mirrored, etched cabinet doors, real Corian countertops, and storage aplenty as well as real pull-down sunshades for the front seat passengers. The front passenger will appreciate the power stepwell cover that hides the steps so you can walk around while in motion without worrying about falling into a pit. 

The bathroom features a huge closet that is also pre-plumbed and wired for a stackable washer/dryer system or a combo unit. The enclosed head has a real porcelain toilet just like in your home. You'll also feel right at home with the large glass-enclosed shower that gives you the room you need to move around without feeling cramped. Speakin of not feeling cramped, check out the huge queen bedroom! The mirrored headboard and closet doors really add to the spaciousness plus there is a real home-style mattress not a cheap RV unit so you can rest easy at night.  

We just picked this coach up last week at a bank auction then drove it almost 600 miles back to our place with NO PROBLEMS. When we tell you this coach is ready to hit the road, we aren't just whistling Dixie...we've put it to the test! Of course, with only 66k miles, it's not even broken-in yet. There are no soft spots, delam, or other signs that it has ever had a leak. The CAT Turbo Diesel engine runs perfect and has no exhaust leaks or other signs of hard use. The 7kw DIESEL generator runs great as well plus it has only 108 hours on it! We have had units with diesel gensets which had over 10,000 hours on them.

Our mechanic has gone over all the major systems to ensure that they're all functioning properly. When you pick it up we won't just throw you the keys...we'll have him go over the entire coach with you top to bottom and give you a good school on its operation. Best of all, we got a great buy on this coach that we're passing along to you in the form of a LOW RESERVE that is OVER TWENTY THOUSAND BELOW the BOOK VALUE of over $65,000!!!

We understand you are buying online, but with us you are not buying blind! We handwrite every single description. We provide 24+ high resolution pictures & we inspect and photo what you see and what you can't see. We'll also be glad to email you detailed, closeup pictures of any area you'd like to see more of. People ask us all the time what is the catch to our vehicles. They assume that the prices are low because there is something wrong with them. Nothing could be further from the truth! This leads other sellers to email our customers and knock our product! All new or low feedback (under 5 positives) bidders must first email us for no other reason than just to make contact. This way we know we have serious bidders! Fee and Tax Information:

MS Residents Must Pay The 5% State Sales Tax on all motorized vehicles (7% on anything else such as campers, travel trailers, etc.) and a $100 Title/Doc Fee. All Other U.S. Buyers Will Pay Their Own State Taxes Themselves In Their Home State. All other bidders pay only a $99 Documentation Fee in addition to the winning bid. This covers our costs for a notary, Fedex charges, and other paperwork. Lousiana, Canadian and other foreign buyers must pay a $149 Documentation Fee to cover the extra Fedex and other expenses associated with doing international (and Cajun) paperwork. We do have Mississippi temporary tags available if you desire one for an additional $50. However, we've sent hundreds of RVs all over the country without them & nobody has ever had an issue driving home.

Payment Must Be Made VIA Cashier's Check, Bank-to-Bank Wire Transfer, or Cash (in person). We must be able to verify funds prior to vehicle delivery. Generally we have almost all titles on hand. However, we sometimes buy vehicles that are dealer trade-ins where there is a payoff involved so the title may be delayed. Feel free to contact us if you need to verify we have the title on hand for a particular vehicle. All Titles Are Held For Up To 14 Working Days For Funds To Clear, Then Will Be Sent via Priority Mail. On Average, Titles Go Out Within a Few Days, But Occasionally There May Be Delays Beyond Our Control. We Cannot Accept Credit Card or Escrow Payments.
 
 
 
We're happy to help ARRANGE shipping however ultimately it is the buyer's responsibility to pick up or ship the vehicle. If you want to have your vehicle shipped we recommend DAS Auto Shippers. We've used them many times in the past with good reults. For the best rate contact them directly. Call 800-626-2505 for the fastest quote. To save money be sure and specify "terminal to terminal" shipping. We'll drop the vehicle off at their local terminal here at no charge to save you money. If you pick up the vehicle at a terminal nearby instead of having it delivered to your doorstep then you'll save even more!
 
 
 
If you don't want to make the long trip home then we have a local retired Army Sergeant Major that can drive most vehicles to you. He charges $1/mile for cars, $1.25/mile for light trucks and SUVs, and $1.50/mile for heavy-duty trucks and RVs. His charge is non-negotiable and must be paid separately.
 
 
 
If you prefer to fly in & drive home we'll be glad to pick you up at Jackson Internation Airport ("JAN"), the local Greyhound station, or the Amtrak Depot. Our business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (CST). Please arrange your flight times accordingly. We are more than happy to provide free pickup during normal business hours. We no longer will deliver vehicles after-hours or on weekends. Occasionally things pop up like a blown fuse or a headlight going out and after hours a mechanic isn't there to fix it.
 
 
 
We will store your vehicle up to 90 days free, however you must provide full coverage insurance. We will not be responsible for damage or theft while in storage here. Our insurance policy will not allow it.
 
 
 
If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please make sure that the contact information (email address and phone number) in your ebay profile is up to date. If you're email bounces back on us then we will block you from further bids until you call us. Occasionally we may call to verify a bidder is legitimate.
